Art Cake!

This is a cake featured on Design*Sponge, from the wedding of pastry chef Caitlin Williams and James Freeman, in San Francisco. David and I think it would be a lot of fun, and perhaps easier and cheaper, to have lots of smaller desserts rather than one big cake. Different people could bring their favorite pies, cookies and small cakes, etc.

We started this blog to record and share our ideas for our wedding. It is our virtual scrapbook and forum to bounce ideas off of our friends and family.

For our first post, here are some items I bought at a thrift store with Gretchen: a white glass cake stand, a glass drink dispenser, and some colorful tea cups.

As for a master decor plan, right now I am thinking clear and white serving ware, with colorful tablecloths. More ideas to come!
